The upcoming fully-faired supersport bike from TVS and BMW will be based on the F 450 GS platform
TVS Motor Company unveiled the Tangent RR Concept at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. It was alleged to spawn the brand’s first-ever fully faired supersports bike, tentatively titled as TVS Apache RR 450, while based on the BMW F 450 GS platform. Now, the model in question here has been sighted for the very first time on camera during its highway test runs. Well, media reports also indicate that it could be BMW-badged supersports bike, the F 450 RR, on the same 450cc parallel twin-cylinder platform.
The Tangent RR concept was presented with a monocoque subframe at the Milan Motorcycle Show. Now, it has been learnt that a production version of the concept is being developed and it could break cover at the EICMA 2026 in November. Though the spied unit was wearing heavy camouflage, we can clearly notice the full fairing with a white registration plate.
Some other notable elements onboard the upcoming 450 twin-cylinder bike are fairing-mounted ORVMs, clip-on handlebars, committed riding position, and a split seat setup. The rear section has brake lights integrated into the turn indicators. While there are USD forks at front, the rear suspension duties are helmed by fully adjustable monoshock units.

The stopping power is likely to be provided by disc units at both the ends. The upcoming TVS Apache RR 450 could use 17-inch front and rear alloy wheels as standard with premium tyres. The Tangent RR concept was rolled out with traditional split eye-like headlamp and twin disc brakes at front. However, the spied model misses out on both of these and hence, it is safe to assume that it is more of BMW F 450 RR than TVS Apache RR 450.
Mechanically, it will borrow the same 420cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine from the BMW F 450 GS which generates 47 bhp at 8750 rpm and 43 Nm at 6750 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Expect a plethora of advanced features in the form of a bi-directional quickshifter, ride modes, traction control, TFT display and Turn-by-turn navigation.

TVS and BMW have a long standing partnership in the Indian market. The two brands first co-developed multiple bikes based on a 310cc platform. Now, both the companies have once again joined hands to present multiple motorcycles under the 450 platform.
