Exciting News! Petrol Price Cheaper By Rs 5

The festive season of the year has already started with many automakers offering attractive discounts and benefits to their products. Likewise, now Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have implemented intrastate freight rationalisation to make a substantial reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel across several states. So what are the new fuel prices in your state?

On the auspicious occasion of Dantheras several OMCs have revised the rates of petrol and diesel in districts of Chattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha and Mizoram. The highest reduction in prices of Petrol and Diesel is observed in Odisha reporting a total reduction of Rs 4.69 and Rs 4.45 of the fuels respectively. The revised rates of the fuels in the allocated states will be effective from 30 October 2024. District wise price reduction details are given below.

Petrol/Diesel Price Drop – What’s New

Hardeep Singh, Union Oil Minister welcomed this decision from the OMCs and said it will benefit consumers located at remote locations. Currently only this many states and districts are announced for the revised rates of the petrol and diesel, as elections are heading we might see many other states announce the revised rates of petrol and diesel in coming days.

The state has recently announced no tolls policy while entering in Mumbai making a wise announcement for the commuters. Said that, the commuters are currently awaiting to see a price drop in fuels to make the deal more sweeter. But, as of now there are no decisions from the Central government for any subsequent changes or Petrol/Diesel price drop in the state. As of now the last recorded prices of petrol and diesel in Mumbai are 103.44 and 89.97 respectively. However, as the state is heading towards assembly elections 2024 we expect the government to make a substantial change or drop in the price of petrol and diesel in Maharashtra.
