BC Bike Race is bringing biking back to its roots. A big festival environment bringing all kinds of mountain bikers together in the same palce. XC, downhill, enduro, adaptive mtb and e-bikes all squeeze into a big weekend of events and demos spread across three riding areas.

That place will be the singletrack-rich town of Cowichan, on Vancouver Island. One of the few places set up to properly host all those disciplines over a single weekend. With Tzouhalem, Maple Mountain and the iconic trails of Mount Prevost, Cowichan Valley is perfectly suited to serve as the hub for such an ambitious race weekend.
As the 20th and final week-long BC Bike Race wraps up, BC Bike Fest, including one of two MegaVolt weekends will kick off. BC Bike Race runs May 23-29. BC Bike Fest runs from May 29-31, 2026.

Registration is open now for MegaVolt eMTB events and the 2026 BC Bike Race. Registration for BC Bike Fest events (XC, aXC, Enduro, DH) open on February 16, 2026 at BCBikeFest.com.
Beyond the racing, BC Bike Fest will be centered at the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds. Live music, bike demos, something called a Rambo Bike Relay and Bike Toss, it’s all going down there. Race hard, play hard at what BCBF is calling weekend camp for adults.
