JSW MG Motor India is all set to unveil the new India-spec Majestor SUV, more than a year after the model made its debut in the country at the Auto Expo last year. Set to be positioned above the Gloster in the model range, it will rival the Toyota Fortuner Legender.

Under the hood, the Majestor SUV will be powered by the 2.0-litre, twin-turbo diesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Power output is rated at 213bhp and 478Nm. A 4×4 system will also be available as standard.
In terms of design, the new MG Majestor will feature new front and rear bumpers, revised lighting elements, fresh design for the grille and alloy wheels, faux skid plates, blacked-out pillars and roof rails, and dual exhaust tips.

Inside, the model is expected to come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone climate control, and a 360-degree camera. Apart from the Fortuner Legender, the Majestor will also compete with the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron, and the Nissan X-Trail.
