New Car Launches and Reveals in India in February 2026

February 2026 is shaping up to be an active month for the Indian automobile market, with several manufacturers lining up launches and unveilings across different segments.

From premium SUVs and electric vehicles to mass-market MPVs, buyers can expect a diverse range of new products. Here is a detailed overview of the cars scheduled to be launched or revealed in India this month.

MG

MG Motor India will begin its 2026 product offensive with the Majestor SUV, a new top-spec version of the Gloster. Positioned as a more premium alternative, the Majestor will compete directly with the Toyota Fortuner Legender. Prices for the SUV are scheduled to be announced on 12 February.

Based on the Maxus D90, the Majestor differentiates itself from the standard Gloster with revised styling. Exterior updates include redesigned front and rear bumpers, a new grille, vertically stacked headlamps, LED daytime running lights, updated tail lamps and a fresh set of alloy wheels. Mechanical specifications remain unchanged, with power coming from a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 system.

BMW

BMW is set to expand the X3 lineup with the introduction of the X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro, a new range-topping variant. Prices will be announced on 16 February.

The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 258 bhp and 400 Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. It also features a 48V mild-hybrid system. Key highlights include an illuminated kidney grille, 20-inch alloy wheels with a staggered tyre setup, Brooklyn Grey exterior paint, smoked headlamps and tail lamps, updated soft-touch interior inserts and M-colour stitched seat belts.

Nissan

Nissan will have a busy month with two model debuts, starting with the Gravite, scheduled to be revealed on 17 February. The Gravite is a sub-four-metre, three-row MPV based on the same platform as the Renault Triber. While feature details are yet to be disclosed, the Gravite will feature a distinct exterior design to set it apart.

Power is expected to come from a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 71 bhp and 96 Nm, paired with either a five-speed manual or AMT gearbox.

Later in the month, Nissan will also unveil the Tekton, a new mid-size SUV positioned as a key product for the brand. It will compete with models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. A three-row version of the Tekton is expected to follow next year.

Maruti

Maruti Suzuki will announce prices of its first all-electric vehicle, the e Vitara, later this month. While the exact date has not been confirmed, the model was showcased at the Auto Expo last year. A Toyota-badged version, the Urban Cruiser Ebella, is also expected.

The e Vitara will be available in three variants and 10 colour options. Buyers can choose between two battery packs, 48.8 kWh and 61 kWh, with a claimed ARAI-certified range of 543 km. The model marks Maruti’s entry into the mass-market electric SUV segment.

Volkswagen

Volkswagen’s February highlight is the Tayron, which will serve as the flagship SUV in the brand’s Indian lineup. While the official launch date is yet to be confirmed, pre-bookings are open at Rs. 51,000.

The Tayron will be powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine delivering 201 bhp and 320 Nm, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. It will be offered in a single fully loaded variant and seven exterior colour options.
